Applications are invited from graduates for the post of Graduate Library Trainee in the Resource of Centre of NITTTR, Chennai.

Educational qualification:
PG degree in Library & Information Science (LIS) from any recognized University, with a minimum of 55% marks.
Desirable Qualifications:
Knowledge of data processing is desirable.

Age Limit:
Upper age limit is 25 years for UR, 28 years for OBC and 30 years for SC/ST candidates as on last date for receipt of completed application

Method of selection:
Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. The Institute reserves the right to select or not to select the candidates for training programme advertised and mere fulfilment of qualifications laid down does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.

Stipend:
The selected candidates are eligible for a monthly stipend of Rs.14,000/- p.m. (consolidated)

Duration:
The training period will strictly for a period of one year
Number of Trainees: 2 (Two)
The last date for receipt of completed application is 10.04.2021.
No TA will be paid for appearing in the interview

Candidates will be selected based on written / trade test followed by an interview. Completed application form along with photocopies of Educational Certificates from SSLC onwards and Community Certificate should be sent to the Senior Librarian, Resource Centre, National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research, Taramani, Chennai 600 113. Incomplete applications/applications not submitted in the prescribed form/applications received through email/applications received after the due date and those not accompanied by copies of certificates for proof of age, educational qualification and experience, if any will be summarily rejected
