- The appointment is purely temporary and will be for one year.
- Selected interns are expected to work five days a week and may be required to work weekends as needed.
- Training/internship certificates will be issued upon completion.
- A “First Class” degree/post-graduate degree implies achieving 60% marks or an equivalent CGPA where applicable.
- The institute reserves the right to determine the mode of screening and selection.
- No TA, DA, medical, or accommodation will be provided.

OLD POST:
National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) – Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), a premier research Centre is looking for fresh post-graduates in Library & Information Science for the appointment of a Library Trainee on a contract basis.
The selected candidates shall be offered a consolidated salary and the contract will be initially for a period of One (1) year with a Probation of Three months.
Position: Library Trainees
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Library & Information Science from a recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate.
Age: Below: 28 years as of 1st January 2023
Consolidated Salary: Rs.22,000/- per month.
The selected candidate will be required to join immediately. The candidates should be willing to work in shifts.
Interested candidates may attend (walk-in) a written test followed by an Interview at the National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS), Tata Institute for Fundamental Research (TIFR), GKVK, Bellary Road, Bangalore-560065 at 10.00 am on Saturday, 20th May 2023 along with CV and true copies of relevant certificates/testimonials in support of your qualifications.
