The Indian Library Congress is scheduled to be held at Delhi on 22 – 23 February 2025. The Congress aims at a scholarly assessment of the local and global experiences in the functioning of libraries. The focus is on the formulation of an active strategy to assess the prospects and address the challenges for public libraries in India.
Call for Papers – New Delhi Indian Library Congress
Papers are invited in the following themes for the III Indian Library Congress:

| Library and the Society | Social justice and the experiential world of the marginalized – caste, class, gender- culture and literature-Literacy, literature, community and libraries – Sports and public libraries-Libraries, child development and social welfare; grassroots library movement- libraries as part of feminist movements; Librarians and their changing roles in the present. |
| Library movement in India: Challenges and prospects | India’s development experience and the library movement; Sharing the experience of public library development across states and regions; narratives of struggles and successes. – Strengths and weaknesses- experience sharing.
