Education Qualification:
As per Govt. Office Memorandum No. AHE.407/2017/54 dated 25.11.2020 with NET/SLET/SET/Ph.D (in accordance with minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph.D. Degree as per UGC Regulation. 2009 as the qualifying criteria. The candidates must have a good academic record with at least 55% marks(or equivalent grade in a point scale) at the Master’s degree in Librarian information Science. A relaxation of 5% mars for 55% to 50% my be provided to Ph.D. holders who have obtained their master’s degree prior to 19.09.1991. A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided at the Graduate or Master’s level for the Sc/ST PwD categories for the purpose of eligibility.
