Eligibility Conditions
- Deputation or Absorption: Officer under the Central Government, State Government, or Union Territories:
- Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department, or
- Having five years of service in the grade rendered after appointment to regular posts in Pay Band-2, Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4200 or equivalent.
- Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science of a recognized University or Institute.
- Two years of professional experience in a library under Central Government, State Government, Autonomous Organizations, Public Sector Undertakings, or Universities.
- Desirable Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recognized University or Institute.
- Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognized University or Institute.
