• Relevant tools and techniques of scientific writing
• Reference Management Tools e.g. Mendeley, Zotero
• Search strategies and Techniques for information retrieval
• Open Educational resources for research
• Research Data Management and Research Visualization Tools
• Networks based Research Metrics: Alternative Metrics
• Research Ethics and Plagiarism detection software
• Research Database & Indices: Benchmark for quality research
• Research Funding Agencies etc.
STTP Outcomes
At the completion of STTP, the participants will be able to write and/or guide their scholars to write scholarly publications. They will gain insight into various research-related issues like knowledge about effective search strategies, managing the research data, UGC guidelines about avoiding plagiarism, research visualization tools, and various funding agencies for research.

The STTP will be conducted by resource persons from various eminent institutes like IITs, NITs etc from across the nation who have a strong command on the subject.

The STTP is open to faculty members/librarians/ deputy librarians/assistant librarians from Universities/ Institutions/Colleges etc. Ph.D. scholars & Final Year Post Graduates students of J.C.
