About INFLIBNET
The Information and Library Network (INFLIBNET) Centre was established in May 1996 as an independent, autonomous InterUniversity Centre (IUC) of the University Grants Commission (UGC). Major activities and services of the Centre include automation of academic libraries and information centres, creation of union databases of resources available in academic libraries, promote resource sharing among academic libraries, promote information access and transfer, support scholarship, learning and academic pursuits.
The Centre acts as a nodal agency for networking of libraries and information centres in universities, institutions of higher learning and R &D institutions in India with an aim to promote scholarly communication. The technology being a driving force in the contemporary education system, the INFLIBNET Centre has taken-up a number of initiatives for the academic community in universities under its purview.

The Centre is organising an intensive “One Week Online Training Programme on Operations of SOUL 2.0 for those who have purchased SOUL 2.0 Software. The training programme provides more focus on the operational techniques of SOUL 2.0 with theory and hands-on practice online.

SOUL Overview and Administrative Module
SOUL 2.0 Acquisition Module
SOUL 2.0 Cataloguing Module
SOUL 2.0 Circulation Module
SOUL 2.0 Serials Control Module
Target Participant 7 Five Days Online Training Programme on Operations of SOUL 2.0
Participants should be conversant with basic knowledge of library and information science and basic knowledge of computer operation will be preferred. Participants must have a PC/Laptop with an Internet connection for theory and practical session. However, participants can join through mobile-only for theory session.
Traning Fee 7 Five Days Online Training Programme on Operations of SOUL 2.0
The registration fee is Rs. 1,180 (Rupees One thousand one hundred eighty only) per person which is inclusive of GST rates. The fee is non-refundable and non-adjustable. The Centre accepts payment by NEFT /RTGS for the workshop. The fee is non-refundable and non-adjustable.
