Pay Scale: ₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400
Educational Qualification for College Librarian
Candidates should have:
- A Master’s Degree in Library Science, Information Science or Documentation Science, or an equivalent professional degree, with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
- A consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library.
- Candidates must have qualified NET conducted by UGC/CSIR/ICAR/ASRB, or a similar UGC-accredited SET/SLET conducted by Maharashtra, or possess a qualifying Ph.D. in Library Science, Information Science, Documentation Science, Archives and Manuscript Keeping, subject to the conditions specified in the official notification.
