2. Educational qualifications
Master’s degree in Library Science, Information Science, or Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
A consistently good academic record and knowledge of library computerisation.
Must satisfy the applicable UGC NET/CSIR NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. eligibility conditions specified in the advertisement.
SC/ST candidates receive the stated 5% relaxation in the Master’s degree marks requirement.
3. Desirable experience and skills
Digital library management, information technology and knowledge management systems.
Procurement of library resources.
Acquisition, accessioning, cataloguing and classification.
Circulation, stock verification and weeding of library materials.
