PSPCL Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria
- Manager: Degree/Diploma in Mining Engineering with 1st Class Manager’s Certificate of Competency. Minimum 02 years of working experience (as Manager/Assistant Manager or equivalent post) in an Opencast Coal mining project after obtaining 1st Class Coal Mines Manager’s Competency Certificate under CMR1957/2017 OR Minimum 05 years of working experience in an Opencast Coal mining project after obtaining 1st Class Coal Mines Manager’s Competency Certificate under CMR1957/2017.
- Assistant Manager: Degree/Diploma in Mining Engineering with 1st/2nd Class Manager’s Certificate of Competency OR Matriculation with 1st/2nd Class Manager’s Certificate of Competency. 1-year post qualification experience in coal mine after obtaining 1st Class/2nd Class Manager’s Certificate of Competency under CMR, 1957/2017 OR 10-years’ post qualification experience OR 12-years’ post qualification experience.
- Colliery Engineer: Degree in Mechanical/Mining Machinery Engineering OR Degree in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering with valid Electrical Supervisory Competency Certificate (Mining). Minimum 07 Years of post-qualification working experience in repair and maintenance of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery, working experience in large opencast mines is desirable. OR Minimum 04 years of post-qualification working experience repair/ maintenance/ commissioning of electrical equipment in large open cast mines, working experience in electrical substation shall be desirable.
- Surveyor: Diploma in Survey Engineering with DGMS Certified Surveyor’s Certificate OR Matriculation with DGMS Certified Surveyor’s Certificate. 1-year post qualification experience in open cast coal mine after obtaining Surveyor’s Certificate from DGMS under CMR 1957/2017. OR 5-years’ post qualification experience.
- Overman: Diploma in Mining Engineering with Overman’s certificate of Competency OR Matriculation with Overman’s certificate of Competency. 1 year post qualification experience as overman in open cast coal mine after obtaining valid Overman’s certificate of Competency from DGMS under Coal Mines Regulation 1957/2017. OR 5 years’ post qualification experience.
- Mining Sirdar: Matriculation with Diploma in Mining Engineering and Overman’s certificate of competency, OR Matriculation with Mining Sirdar ship Certificate of competency, Gas Testing Certificate, and First Aid Certificate. 1-year post qualification experience in open cast coal mine after obtaining Valid Overman Certificate of competency issued by DGMS, Dhanbad or any other certificate of competency in Mining issued by DGMS, Dhanbad which entitles the applicant to work as Mining Sirdar as per Coal Mines Regulation 2017 for working in coal mines. OR 3-years’ post qualification experience in open cast coal mine after obtaining Mining Sirdar ship Certificate of competency issued by DGMS, Dhanbad.
