Library 2.0 is independent of technology given the fact that every library activity designed or built with active participation and feedback of its user community qualifies to the concept of Library 2.0. However, Web 2.0 technologies can help libraries to create a collaborative and participative environment that is necessary to deliver user-centric library services and to create new resources and build – upon existing ones using the collective intelligence of users.
