Punjab Waqf Board Jobs About Job

Punjab Waqf Board, on behalf of the School Management Committees of the respective schools, seeks applications from eligible

candidates for the following teaching and non-teaching posts for schools/Library running under the direct management of the Board. The details

of the posts in each school is mentioned in Annexure A.

QUALIFICATIONS Punjab Waqf Board Jobs

1. For the post of Lecturer PGT, the applicant must possess 2nd class Master’s Degree in the concerned subject from recognized University

with at least 60% marks in B.Ed.

2. For the post of TGT, The applicant must possess 2nd class Bachelor Degree in concerned subject from recognized University with at least

3. For the post of primary teacher, the applicant must be a graduate with at least 60% marks in B.Ed.

For the post of nursery teacher, the applicant must be a graduate and should possess 2nd class Diploma in Elementary Education relevant subject. Punjab Waqf Board Jobs

For the post of Diniyat Teacher, the applicant must possess 2nd class Certificate in Hafiz & Alim/ Fazil.

For the post of clerk, the applicant should have 2 and class Bachelor Degree with at least one year diploma in computer application.

Candidates having a graduate degree in computer related subjects (BSc IT/BCA etc) shall not require the one year diploma separately.

For Physical Education, applicant should possess 2 nd class degree in B.P. Ed from a recognized University.

For the post of Librarian, the candidate should be B.A. / B.Sc with degree (B.Lib) in library Science from any recognized university.

Knowledge of automation of library will be added advantage.

9. For the post of accountant candidate should be a commerce graduate with working experience in Tally

Other Qualifications:
✓ Age: Shall be between 18-37 years as on 1st of July, 2020.
✓ Should have passed Punjabi at Matric level or equivalent examination conducted by the language department of Government
of Punjab.

Selection Criteria and Methodology:Punjab Waqf Board Jobs
Candidates shall be selected solely based on their suitability as assessed through scheduled walk in interview, subject to
fulfillment of eligibility criteria.
Salary, Probation and other service conditions:
1. Probation and service conditions of the recruits shall be governed by the policies approved by the Board vide its resolution
no. 8 dated 21.07.2019 as amended from time to time.
2. Salary shall be as follows
a. Lecturer PGT- 11500 Per Month
b. Teacher- 10500 Per Month
c. Librarian/Clerk/accountant- 9500/month
d. Peon- Minimum Wages fixed by DC
3. The recruits shall not ordinarily be transferable between the schools and shall have to work in the school for which they are
selected. Chairman may, in consultation with CEO, transfer between schools on specific grounds to be recorded in writing for
the benefit of the students.
