Post-wise Details and Eligibility
- DGM (IT), Chandigarh – 1 post: The notice invites eligible officers for the IT leadership role. A relevant postgraduate qualification in Computer Science/IT/Information Systems or equivalent, substantial IT/ERP experience and the prescribed defence-service/age conditions apply. Non-Ex-Servicemen may be considered for this post subject to the notice’s conditions.
- DGM (Project & Ventures), Chandigarh – 1 post: Primarily for an experienced retired commissioned Defence Services officer of the prescribed rank/equivalent, with a postgraduate degree; MBA or equivalent is preferred, along with leadership and project/venture experience.
- DGM (Security), designated Punjab districts – 1 post: For an eligible retired Defence Services officer of the prescribed rank who has commanded a unit, sub-unit or equivalent establishment and meets the medical fitness conditions.
Punjab domicile, working knowledge of Punjabi and computer proficiency are among the stated common requirements. Post-wise rank, age and experience criteria differ; candidates must read the notification carefully.
