Qualifications and Experience Required:
- A Master’s Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recognized University/Deemed University with a minimum of 55% marks.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in a Library under Central/State Government/Autonomous or Statutory organization/University or Recognized Research or Educational Institution, including experience with SOUL or similar Library Software.
- The candidate must not be more than 35 years of age.
Age Relaxation:
- For candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC, age will be relaxed as per GOI norms. A bonafide certificate must be produced.
- For employees of Central/State Government, autonomous bodies, and universities, a 5-year age relaxation is applicable as per Government norms. Candidates must produce a certificate from their employer confirming regular appointment (not casual/adhoc/contract).
Desirable:
- Candidates with technical experience/knowledge of working in Digital Library, especially with D-Space, will be preferred.
