| Qualifications Required | (i) A Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with at least 55% of marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and a consistently good academic record with superior knowledge of computerized library service. (ii) Qualifying in the National Level Test such as NET conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC. (iii) Age: Not exceeding 35 years. (iv) Desirable: Ph.D. in Library Science from a reputed Institute/University. |
| Application Submission | Interested candidates may submit the soft copy of their application in the prescribed format (Faculty posts, Annexure – I and Librarian, Annexure – II) as given on the Institute website www.nerist.ac.in through email to recruitment2024@nerist.ac.in. The last date for submitting the application through email is 08/11/2024 (5:00 PM). |
| Hard Copy Submission | The signed hard copy of the application along with certified copies of all certificates/documents, two copies of recent passport-size photographs (one should be pasted on the form), and a non-refundable application processing fee of Rs. 1500/- (SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted) in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favor of Director, NERIST and payable at SBI NERIST (Code No. 18744) Nirjuli, Arunachal Pradesh should reach the Registrar, NERIST, Nirjuli, PIN —791 109, Arunachal Pradesh by Registered/Speed Post only. The last date for receipt of the complete signed hard copy of the application is 14/11/2024 (5:00 PM). |
