The new UGC job portal launched on Wednesday on the official UGC website — ugc.ac.in — will help NET, SET, PhD qualified candidates to look for jobs easily. Interested candidates can register and create their profiles online and prospective employers can do the same to post their job vacancies
UGC job portal to allow employees and employers connect more easily
The official statement by UGC noted that the job portal will allow employers to browse the academic profiles of the candidates registered on the site. Alternately, it will also allow candidates to look through the job vacancies posted there.
“The portal helps NET/SET/PhD qualified candidates to bring their academic profile to the attention of universities/colleges and other employers with the ultimate aim to get them a suitable job,” reads the official UGC notification.
