Essential Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science
OR
2. Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science
Required Knowledge
Proficiency in Koha Library Management Software
Good working knowledge of computer hardware and software
Proficiency in English (both spoken and written)
Familiarity with Library Classification and Cataloguing
Computer Knowledge
Core Responsibilities
Circulation Desk Duties: Issuing, returning, and renewing books and materials
Shelving and Organization: Arranging books/periodicals and maintaining the stack area
Cataloguing Support: Assisting in data entry and updating library system
User Assistance: Helping users locate materials and use catalog
Technical & Admin Support
Assisting in acquisition and processing of new books/journals
Inventory control and stock verification
Inter-library loans and document delivery
Clerical tasks: typing, filing, and record maintenance
Skill Test
Typing & Computer Proficiency Test
Descriptive Type Test (Medium: English)
