Library Intern Positions at the Central Library, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi

Age Limit: Not exceeding 27 years as on November 15, 2021 (the last date of application).
Remuneration : Consolidated stipend of Rs. 20,000/- per month.
Essential Qualifications:
First Division in Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) or equivalent. The applicant must
have passed MLIS or equivalent examination in the year 2020 or 2021.
However, those expecting MLIS final marksheet as above by the day of the interview may also apply.
Candidates who passed the MLIS or equivalent examination before 2020 need not apply.
How to Apply :
Interested candidates who fulfil the criteria as mentioned above, may apply through ONLINE
GOOGLE FORM, available through Central Library, IIT Delhi Website (https://library.iitd.ac.in) on or
before November 15, 2021, 5:00 PM, and upload recent passport size photograph and signature
(jpeg/jpg format), MLIS Marksheet/MLIS Degree and Matric Certificate (mentioning the date of birth).
In case the result is awaited for the MLIS examination, the BLIS marksheet should be uploaded.
Candidates are required to submit a hard copy of the duly filled application form, along with
supporting documents (each page duly signed) to “The Librarian, Central Library, Indian Institute of
Technology Delhi, Hauz Khas, New Delhi-110 016” on or before November 22, 2021 (5:00 PM). IIT Delhi
will not be responsible for any postal delay or non-receipt of the printed copy of the application
alongwith the enclosures. Application, incomplete in any respect and without relevant documents as
required, will be rejected.
The candidates shortlisted, will be called to appear for an Offline Interview. No request for the Online
Interview will be entertained. The date for the interview will be announced in due course of time on
the Library Website: https://library.iitd.ac.in. It is the candidate’s responsibility to keep an eye on\ the
