Position
Assistant Librarian (Contractual Engagement)
Job Type
Contractual, Temporary for 06 months
Qualification
A uniformly good academic record with a Master’s degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
Qualification in NET/SET examination in the relevant subject, provided that a candidate who has obtained a Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from NET/SET qualification.

The Sanskrit College and University authority reserves the right to accept or cancel any application without clarification. The decision of the authority will be final in candidate selection.
The incumbent will be responsible for the overall functions of the University Library and other related tasks assigned from time to time.
Remuneration
The University will pay consolidated remuneration @ Rs. 20,000/- per month or as may be determined by the Governing Board/Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal.
Contract Duration
Initial engagement will be for 06 months. Further extension(s) will be subject to the decision of the University authority.
