Eligibility Criteria
- Deputy Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel: Minimum 7 years practice in criminal law. Must have handled at least 20 criminal trials in Sessions Courts. Excellent knowledge of criminal law, communication, legal research, ethics. IT proficiency.
- Assistant Legal Aid Defense Counsel: Practice in criminal law: 0-3 years. Good communication, research and writing skills. Understanding of defense counsel ethics. High IT proficiency.
