Educational qualifications and eligibility

1. Librarian

• Vacancies: 1

• Qualification: Bachelor of Library Science (B.Lib./B.Lib.Sc.) or graduation with a Diploma in Library Science from a recognized institute.

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

• Additional requirement: Computer literacy.

This post is particularly relevant to Library and Information Science candidates with library experience.

2. Pre-Primary Teacher

• Vacancies: 1

• Educational qualification: Graduation with at least 50% marks from a recognized university or institution.

• For fresh teachers: A minimum two-year diploma in Nursery Teacher Education, Pre-School Education or Early Childhood Education (D.E.C.Ed.), or B.Ed. (Nursery) from an NCTE-recognized institution.

• For serving teachers: Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) or ECCE qualification from IGNOU, NIOS or another NCTE-recognized institution, as specified in the recruitment notice.

3. Upper Division Clerk (UDC)

• Vacancies: 1

• Qualification: B.Com. or 15 years of service as a clerk for eligible ex-servicemen.

• Computer skills: MS Office, Tally and other relevant school software.

• Typing/computer proficiency: 12,000 key depressions per hour.

• Experience: Five years as a clerk or accounts clerk in a reputed organization, preferably a school.

4. Accountant

• Vacancies: 1

• Qualification: Commerce graduate or 15 years of service as a clerk in the Defence Services.

• Computer qualification: Army basic computer application course or a diploma in computer applications of at least one year.

• Required knowledge: Double-entry accounting, spreadsheets and accounting software.

• Experience: At least five years as an accountant clerk in the Defence Services or a reputed organization.

5. Paramedics (Nursing Assistant)

• Vacancies: 1

• Qualification: 10+2 and a diploma in nursing.

• Experience: Minimum five years of relevant experience.

• Preference: Female candidates may be given preference as specified in the notice.

Age limit

Age is calculated as on 1 April 2026. The published recruitment information indicates that the upper age may extend to 55 years for eligible experienced candidates, subject to the applicable post-specific rules.

For the Pre-Primary Teacher post, the reported age criteria are:

• Fresh candidates: 25 years or older and below 40 years.

• Experienced candidates: Up to 55 years, with at least five years of Pre-Primary teaching experience during the preceding ten years.

Only one application form will be filled up for one post. Application form is available at www.apsnarangi.com. A
DD for Rs 100/- in favour of APS Narangi, payable at Guwahati should accompany with each application. Candidates
are to deposit the Application Form (Hard Copy) along with Bio Data/Resume and photocopies of all relevant
certificates/testimonials, CSB Score Card and one copy of recent passport size photograph will also send at the Office
of APS Narangi for all posts by 05 Mar 2022 till 2:00 pm positively. Only screened candidates will be called for
interview in the third week of March 2022.
