Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Graduate degree from a recognized university
  • Teacher Training: B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) or D.Ed. (Diploma in Education) from a recognized institution
  • CTET/TET Certificate: Valid CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) or TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) certificate issued by the national/state authority
  • 12th Pass: Minimum qualification of 12th Standard (Higher Secondary)

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 65 years
  • Age relaxation may be applicable for reserved categories as per Indian Railways norms

Desired Experience

  • Previous teaching experience is an added advantage
  • Familiarity with school curriculum and pedagogical methods
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Important Information

  • Employment Nature: This is a contractual position subject to annual renewal based on performance and availability of funds
  • Regularization: Contractual employment does not guarantee automatic regularization or permanent placement with Indian Railways
  • No Hard Copy: Candidates must bring original documents to the walk-in interview only; no advance postal applications are required
  • CTET/TET Validity: The CTET/TET certificate must be valid as on the date of interview
  • Multiple Applications: Candidates applying for multiple posts must submit separate applications for each position
  • Termination: Railway administration reserves the right to terminate the contract at any stage with 14 days’ notice on either side
  • Medical Fitness: Selected candidates must pass medical examination and police verification
