Vacancy and Reservation
The circular advertises two Library Assistant posts. It states that one post will be reserved for SC/ST/OBC candidates and the remaining post will be unreserved. Candidates should refer to the official circular for the applicable reservation details.
Educational Qualification
- Graduate degree from a recognised university or institute.
- Bachelor of Library Science (B.Lib.Sc. / B.L.I.Sc.) from a recognised university or institute.
Experience Required

Salary and Contract Tenure
The fixed consolidated remuneration is ₹50,000 per month. After completion of one year, remuneration may be revised by up to a maximum of 10%, subject to performance review. The initial engagement is for one year and may be extended, subject to performance review, up to a maximum total period of 2 years and 11 months.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit is 35 years on the date of the advertisement. Refer to the official circular for any applicable clarification.
Selection Process
Only shortlisted candidates will be informed about an interview or test by email. The interview may be conducted virtually. Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee shortlisting.
