Job Description Librarian at color Indian School Vandalur chennai
Roles and Responsibilities
- We are looking for candidates who have completed Bachelor or Masters in Library Science with previous experience.
- Assist students with finding reference materials and leisure reading materials when asked.
- Maintain library inventory and conduct periodic audits of the information on file.
- Help students navigate the electronic records and periodicals.
- Read stories to groups of children three mornings per week and conduct play time afterward.
- Create and implement new programs to attract students.
- Check books and other materials in and out of the library.
- Teach students how to use the electronic database and its functions.
- Manage the acquisitions of new materials.
- Candidates located nearby will be given preference.
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: INR15,000.00 to INR20,000.00 /monthExperience:
