💰 Pay / Salary
Officer on Special Duty: Fixed Pay ₹50,000 per month.
Assistant Professor: Academic Level 10 with Entry Pay of ₹57,700 as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix, subject to the applicable Punjab Government notifications and university conditions.
🎓 Educational Qualification
Officer on Special Duty: Serving/Retired approved Principals of affiliated colleges of Punjab State Universities or Serving/Retired Professors of Universities.
Assistant Professor: A good academic record and a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the concerned/relevant/allied subject. Candidates must also fulfil the applicable UGC/NET/SLET/SET/Ph.D. requirements and other conditions mentioned in the official advertisement.
A 5% relaxation in the prescribed marks is available to the eligible categories as specified in the advertisement.
💳 Application Fee
General Application Fee: ₹1,180/- including GST.
SC/ST & PWD candidates: ₹590/- including GST, subject to the conditions mentioned in the official notification. SC/ST/PWD candidates who are not domiciled in Punjab are required to pay ₹1,180/-.
📝 How to Apply
Candidates must apply online only through the Guru Nanak Dev University website. Applications through post, email, fax or CV submission will not be accepted as an alternative to the online application.
