BKNMU Librarian Vacancy 2026 – Overview

Educational Qualification

• Master’s Degree in Library Science, Information Science or Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
• At least 10 years as a Librarian at any level in a University Library, or 10 years teaching as Assistant/Associate Professor in Library Science, or 10 years’ experience as a College Librarian.
• Evidence of innovative library services including ICT integration in a library.
• Ph.D. in Library Science, Information Science, Documentation, Archives or Manuscript-keeping.

Application Fee

The advertisement specifies ₹1,500 for Unreserved candidates and ₹750 for SC, ST, SEBC and EWS candidates, subject to the conditions stated in the notification. PwBD candidates meeting the prescribed conditions are exempted from the fee.
