Library Assistant – Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science/Library & Information Science with at least 55% marks.
- Computer knowledge with English typing speed of 30 words per minute.
- Prescribed Hindi/Sanskrit qualification as mentioned in the notification.
- Knowledge of computer applications is desirable.
Library Counter Clerk & Library Restorer
The notification prescribes graduation, a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science, relevant library experience, computer knowledge and the prescribed Hindi/Sanskrit qualification. Candidates should read the post-wise notification carefully.
Pay Scale
- Library Assistant: FPL-6, ₹35,400–₹1,12,400
- Library Counter Clerk: FPL-2, ₹19,900–₹63,200
