Minimum Qualification & Experience for IIT Roorkee Librarian Job	A Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade on the UGC seven-point scale and consistently good academic record. 13 years as a Deputy Librarian in the Library of a technical university, education institute of national importance, or any other larger technical library, or 19 years’ experience as a college librarian. Evidence of innovative Library service and organization of published work.
Desirable Qualifications	Master’s Degree in Science, M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation/Archives and Manuscripts Keeping.
