Nature of the Job: Learn while you work on different functions & services of the library.
Period of Engagement: 6 months, extendable by another 6 months only based on satisfactory performance.
Essential Qualification:
Masters in Library & Information Science (MLISc) or equivalent from recognized University/institute with first class and consistently good academic record.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computers, IT & digital application in Libraries. Good communication skills in both English and Hindi.
Date of Interview: 10-07-2025
Venue of Interview: Vivekanand Central Library, Cheri-Manatu, Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi.
Note: The selected candidates are expected to work six days a week and if required they may be expected to work on shift duty. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the walk-in-interview. The positions are purely contractual and on need based temporary engagement only. The engaged personnel will have no right whatsoever for permanent employment / absorption at CUJ, Ranchi. The Competent Authority of the
University reserves the right to cease the engagement any time without any notice period or assigning any reason, thereof. Rules as applicable for regular employees in the matter of discipline will be equally applicable.
