With 5 years regular service in posts in pay level-11 Rs. 67700-208700 OR equivalent; and
b) Possessing the education qualifications & experience laid down for direct recruits is as under:-
Essential :
Master’s Degree in Library Science or Library & Information Science from a recognized
University/Institute or equivalent
7 years professional experience in a supervisory capacity in a Library under Central/State
Government/Autonomous or Statutory organization/PSU/University or Recognized Research or
Educational Institution.
Desirable:
Experience of computerizing library activities and networking with other libraries
Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized University or Institute.
