Pay Scale: Entry Pay ₹1,44,200/- approx total monthly emoluments Rs. 2,77,900/-
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
Ph.D. degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation / Archives and Manuscript Keeping.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years as Deputy Librarian (Pay Level-12 / 13) in a Technical University, National Institute of Importance, or a large Technical Library.
Evidence of modern library services including ICT integration is essential.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for all library functions including acquisition of print and electronic resources, digital repository management, research support services, faculty research profile administration.
Organize orientation and training programs for users.
Procurement and stock verification of library materials.
Perform other related duties assigned by the competent authority.
Age Limit (as on last date of application):
Not more than 56 years for direct recruitment.
Not more than 58 years for deputation.
